Hadison John Fontenot

Hadison was a longtime resident of Sulphur. Hadison proudly served in the 101st Airborne Division as a MP in the U.S. Army. He was who traveled for work as a Boilermaker. Hadison was a loving father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Hadison was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Anne Fontenot, two sons, Daniel Fontenot and Karl Fontenot, his parents, Fabius and Adlena Marie Fontenot, and two brothers, Hosea and Allen Fontenot.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sally Thompson and husband, Tommy; a son, Bruce Fontenot and Inez Schexnayder; ten grandchildren, Mandy LeLeux and husband, Jeff, Francesca "Sissy" Fontenot, Samantha Evans, Lea Caldwell and husband, Ryan "Hollywood", Nicole Dowers and husband, Josh, Brittany Fontenot and Justin Lyons, Clinton Fontenot and wife, Amy, Brooke Cunningham and husband, Carrick, Anthony Fontenot, and Seth Fruge and Kaci Durio; fifteen great-grandchildren, Kristen O'Rourke and husband, Kevin, Kena Thomas, Hannah Trahan, David Trahan, Austin Lalonde, Alanna Caldwell, Aden Caldwell, Noah Fontenot, Parker Fontenot, Brogan Fontenot, Briggs Fontenot, Gage Dowers, Jordan Dowers, Sebastiaan Evans, and Harper Symes; two great-great-grandchildren, Ethan O'Rourke and Kinsley Bordelon; brother, Cary Lee Fontenot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home and will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Celebrant, Jody Barrilleaux will lead services. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss.
