Jim was a longtime member of First Pentecostal Church in Sulphur. Jim worked in the automobile dealer industries in parts and sales and is well known and respected by the Lake Charles Dealers. Jim also enjoyed being outdoors, keeping his lawn pristine, fishing, hunting, but especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Lucille Crain, brothers, Carl Wade Crain and Hamel Roe Crain, and a sister, Barbara Ann Jarrels.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Glenda Crain; three children, Jay Crain and wife, Jamie, Rhonda Foreman and husband, Brian, and Diedra Boudreaux and husband, Jr.; six grandchildren, Dyron Adams and wife, Tamberli, Justin Crain, Joni Day and husband, Daniel, Kevin Boudreaux and wife, Ashleigh, Laura Tidwell and husband, Tony, and Aspen Edwards and husband, Bridger; eleven great-grandchildren, Livi, Olivia, Jailyn, Hayden, Zion, Malachi, Laurel, Easton, Keegan, Kace, and Levi; siblings, Clara Loftin, Joe Crain and wife, Donna, Ester Jeans and husband, Ronald, Kay Fontenot, and Dale Crain and wife, Sharon; numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 until time of funeral service at noon at First Pentecostal Church, 606 West Parish Road, Sulphur, Louisiana. Rev. Harlan Morgan will officiate services. Burial will follow in Fords Cemetery in Bon Wier, Texas.
