Jeanne (Landry) Reeves

Jeanne Reeves, 72, of Sulphur, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Jeanne was born on August 22, 1951 in Panama City, Panama to Curtis and Doris Landry. She worked many years as a bookkeeper. In her free time she enjoyed reading, dancing, painting, and attending the Renaissance Festival. She loved art and the WNBA.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; her two sisters, Jackie Snapp and Janice Mathews; and her brother in law, Jack Mathews.

Those left to cherish her memories are, loving husband of 52 years, Jerry Reeves; daughter, Jessica Chabre and husband, Stephen of Sulphur; grandchildren, Christopher "Topher" Gremillion and Courtlyn Gremillion; brother in law, David Snapp; nieces, Shanna Lott (Thomas) and Amanda Globke (Dr. Leland Globke); and nephews, Curtis Snapp and Jason Wall (Heather).

A Rosary will be held with a Celebration of Life following at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 noon until time of service.
