He was a native of Sulphur and had been a resident of DeQuincy for the last 12 years. Jeff was a jack of all trades, his talents included drawing, woodworking, leatherwork, and many other hobbies. He enjoyed fishing. Jeff had a love for music and played several instruments, including the drums and guitar. He loved helping others and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristen O'Rourke and husband Kevin of Moss Bluff; stepson, David Trahan and wife, Ally of Ragley; stepdaughter, Hannah Morris and husband Gerber of Dry Creek; his sister, Regina LeJeune of Sulphur; brother, Bruce Fontenot and grandchildren, Ethan O'Rourke, Kinsley Bordelon and Everly Trahan. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Burnett.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2025 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Deacon Jesse Menard will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
