He was a lifelong resident of the Sulphur/Carlyss area. John was self employed and member of Choupique Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with his cattle and his horse, Jackie, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. John took pride in every aspect of his life, with family and God always first.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 16 years, Sarah Hines LeBblanc; daughter, Lori LeBlanc Stapleton (Zac) of Jena, LA; son, John Michael LeBlanc of Sulphur, currently serving his country as a Marine; daughter, Kearney LeBlanc of Sulphur; mother, Linda Chargois (Marvin) of Sulphur; siblings, Becky Andrus (Keith) of Sulphur; Tonya Freeman (Jason) of Sulphur; Melissa Mull (Frank) of Groves, TX; two grandchildren, Reiny Stapleton and Cash Stapleton.
He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen LeBlanc; father-in-law, Mike Hines; and brothers, Michael LeBlanc and Guy LeBlanc.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. J.P. Miles will officiate. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss. Visitation will be held in the funeral home from 4 - 9 p.m. Friday and resume 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday.
