Joseph was a native of Sulphur and attended Our Lady of Lasallette Catholic Church. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his sons, Joseph Pago, Jr. and his wife, Earline M., of Sulphur, Joseph Anthony Pago and his wife Janie, of Sulphur, and Ronald James Pago of Sulphur; brothers Thomas, Alton and Eugene Pago; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Deville Pago.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011, in Out Lady of Lasallette Catholic Church of Sulphur. The Rev. Jim Winiarski will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss under the guidance of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday with a rosary at 7 p.m., and from 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, all at the funeral home.
