She has been a resident of Sulphur for 30 years. She worked at Olin Chemical, where she was known as KK, from 1980-1992. She then worked for Gravity Drainage from 1992-2005.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Arnold; her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Tonya Kopecky; her five grandchildren, Cody, Kyra, Amber, TJ, and Caleb; one great-granddaughter, Angelika; and two sisters, Roberta Kutzke and Sandy Robison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elza and Marie Brinneman. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will truly be missed.
A memorial service will be held for Kathryn at 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor Brad Easley of Lakewood Bible Fellowship will officiate. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service Friday.
