He was a native of Livingston, Texas and had been a resident of Edgerly for the last 55 years. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 406. Kenneth enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, being outdoors, and taking care of his dog.
Survivors include his daughters, Marcy Gay Richardson and Mona Lee Richardson, both of Sulphur; his siblings, William Neely, Barbara Roberts, Peggy Bowman, and Pam Metcalf, all of Silsbee, Texas, Sally Ann Jones and Beth Stivender, both of Kirbyville, Texas, and Virginia Duhon of Texas; and two grandchildren, Madison West and Tristen Parker, both of Sulphur.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
