Kirk was a lifelong Sulphur resident, graduate of Sulphur High School, and member of First Baptist Church of Carlyss. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Kirk enjoyed reading, watching old westerns and loved to relax at his home. He worked as a Security Guard for local refineries for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Yvonne Tennison, brother, Shane Tennison, and his sister, Candy Candlen.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Marvin Tennison and wife, Diana of Oklahoma City, OK; and niece and nephews, Paul Tennison, Micah Tennison, Joshua Tennison and Mary Sanders.
Memorial Services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, September 15th in First Baptist Church of Carlyss. Burial will be held at 1:00pm, Monday at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss. Words of comfort and memories may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.net.
