She was a native of Hackberry and had lived in Holly Beach for 38 years before moving back to Hackberry in 2005. Linda and her husband Edward owned and operated Hebert Mobil Station in Holly Beach. She was a member of St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Edward Hebert of Hackberry; a son, Terry Wayne Hebert of Hackberry; one sister, Earline Deason of Carlyss; two brothers, A.J. Hebert of Hackberry and Lester Joseph Hebert, Sr. of Sulphur; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son, Patrick Hebert; her parents, Ellen and Dupre Hebert, Sr.; and a brother, Dupre Hebert, Jr.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 20, in St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church. The Rev. Rommel Tolentino will officiate. Burial will be in New Hackberry Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation is from 3-9 p.m. Sunday in the church hall with a rosary service at 7 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Monday.
