She was a native of Winnfield and was raised in Vinton where she lived the majority of her life. She was a 1953 graduate of Vinton High School and was crowned the Homecoming Queen. Pinky worked for many years as a Cafeteria Technician at Vinton Elementary School. In her earlier years, she served as a den mother for her son’s cub scout troop and she continued serving even after they finished scouts. She enjoyed cooking for big family gatherings and expressed her love through the wonderful meals she created.
Survivors include her children, Cynthia Leonards and husband, Robert of Iowa, Randal Boullion and wife, Connie of Sulphur, and Jerri Boullion of Vinton; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Walker Boullion of Lake Charles; her grandchildren, Alicia Silver (Lancey), Mary Demarie (Chris), Philip Leonards (Karlie), Tracy Leonards, and Chavanne Stine (Garrett); and great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Penelope, Benjamin, and Adelayde Leonards, and Jeanne Marie and Brody Stine. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Raymond Boullion; her son, Reginald Boullion; and a great-grandchild, Holden Stine.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Pallbearers will be Guy Renfrow, Jeff Allen, Kreg Burge, Gary Coppels, Jimmy Cormier, and Kenny Watson.
