She lived in Sulphur most of her life and was a native of Church Point. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Clayton "D.D." Godeaux and his wife,Kari of Sulphur; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mervin Godeaux, daughter, Bonita Godeaux; two sons, Kenneth Godeaux and Jimmy Godeaux; and grandson, Casey Godeaux.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
