

Mary Lou was a native of Delhi, Louisiana and has resided in Sulphur for over 50 years. She was member of First Baptist Church of Sulphur. Mary Lou enjoyed working in her yard, crocheting, and cooking. She loved having family get-togethers for Sunday dinners and football. She will be remembered for her love of family and her gift of keeping them together.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Therman Wallace; son, Lester Wallace and wife, Linda; parents, Henry and Alice Masters; and siblings Ray and Shorty Masters, Jan Richardson, and Ann Moreau.
Survivors include her son, Dennis Wallace(Esther) of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Missy Wallace of Seabrook, TX, Tracy Wallace of Pleasure Island, TX and Jody Wallace(Emily) of Sulphur; great-grandchildren, Chase Wentzell, Jacob Hastings, Carson Curtis, Mia Wallace, and Ian and Claire Smith; and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home 4 – 8 p.m. Friday, March 20th and resume Saturday at 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Dr. Andy Buckley will officiate.
