Michael Wayne Thibodeaux

Michael proudly served in the US Marine Corps who spent his career as a truck driver until he became ill. He loved fishing and working on his son's old cars.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Shawn Thibodeaux, his parents, Cosby and Mary Lois Prejean Thibodeaux, four brothers, Charles, Sidney, Jack, and Joe Thibodeaux, and sisters, Shirley Thibodeaux, Mary LaRocca, Sandra Reeves.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy Thibodeaux of Lafayette, LA; four sons, Christopher Thibodeaux and wife, Monica, Joshua Thibodeaux, Brandon Thibodeaux and wife, Amber Alton, and Nicholas Thibodeaux and wife, Shelby; four daughters, Holly Scott, Shelly Thibodeaux, Nikki Thibodeaux, and Katherine Thibodeaux; brothers, Anthony Thibodeaux and Matthew Thibodeaux; 24 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Rev. David will officiate. Burial will follow in Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur, LA. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and will resume at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
