

Mildred was born November 5, 1930 in Starks Louisiana and moved to Galveston upon completion of her High School Diploma.
She owned and operated Cecile's Beauty Shop for 10 years before working permanently for Lipton Tea and the Galveston Independent School District.
In 1988, Mildred moved back to Starks along with her husband, where they built a home and retired. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and church activities. She was always "coaxing" someone to play a good game of Dominoes or Farkel. She was nicknamed "Tincy" by all her family and friends, and active with the First Baptist Church of Starks.
She is preceded in death by her Father, Levi Allbrightton, Mother Eula Allbrightton, Husband Danny C Johnson, Sons, William Charles Lemire III, Wayne Ray Lemire, and Robert Lemire.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Marie Lemire Brockman and husband Doug, daughter in law Gerilyn Weberlein Lemire, Sister Joyce Corry and husband Raphael, step children Johnny Johnson, Debbie Schmal, and Laura Pfleiderer. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved so much. Mildred will be missed by all whom loved her so much.
A wake will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 5-9 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Starks, LA. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Starks, LA. with burial in Miller Cemetery Annex under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
