Patsy Tyree

She was a native of Texas and a longtime resident of Sulphur. Patsy was a member of Maplewood First Baptist Church, the Contraband Crawlers, and the Krewe of Cosmos, and served as the secretary of Sulphur Sheet Metal and Fabrication, Inc. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Tom Tyree of Sulphur; her mother, Wynell Gaddis of Winfield, Texas; two sons, Tom Tyree, Jr. and wife, Kristi of Sulphur and Jacob Tyree and wife, Kim of Moss Bluff; two sisters, Reba Schexnailder of Sulphur and Peggy Scimemi of Mandeville; and four grandchildren, Brooke, Alex, Tripp, and Andrew Tyree.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Dr. Ronnie Burke will officiate. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Monday and from noon until the time of service Tuesday in the funeral home.
