She was born at 1:50 am on January 12, 2017 weighing 15oz and met the eyes of Jesus at that very moment. Even though she did not spend even a minute of life on earth, her parents along with family and friends were able to spend time with her, love on her, and pray over her as she entered the gates of Heaven.
Penelope is the daughter of Adam and Carley Landry of Pearland, Texas. She is the answer to their prayers, and they anxiously awaited her birth with joyful expectation. During her brief visit with family and friends, she has touched many lives, even the lives of ones that did not get to meet her. She is very loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Penelope is being greeted in Heaven by her Paternal Great-Grandparents, Lloyd Joseph Landry, Sr. and Bobbie Falcon Clouatre, and her Maternal Great-Grandmother, Dorothy Helen Ogea.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Steve and Vicki Landry; maternal grandparents, Mark and Cheryl Ogea, paternal great-grandparents, Netla Landry and Thomas Clouatre; maternal great-grandparents, Julius Ogea, Seth Shelton and Margaret Shelton; aunts and uncles, Ashley Landry (Mathew) Drinkwater, Emily Landry (Lance) McFarland, and Corey Michael Ogea; cousins, Addysyn McFarland, Karson Ogea, and Mila Ogea, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Although the family would love to have all of their friends at the burial site as well, they think that this will be a good time to share with their immediate family to say their last goodbyes and lay their sweet Angel to rest.
Adam and Carley would like to thank you all for your continued thoughts, prayers, love and hugs while they grieve the loss of their daughter. They want you to know that they are certain she is smiling down on each and every one of you for showing her parents and family such tremendous love and support.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, please make donations to the Turner Syndrome Society of the United States at www.tssus.org in memory of Penelope.
“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
