Jack was a native of Spearsville and lived in Sulphur over 50 years. He attended the Westlake Church of Christ. Jack enjoyed spending time with his family. He retired over 20 years ago from PPG.
Survivors include his sons, Bubba Carroll and his wife Autumn of Sulphur, Bob Carroll and his wife Lenore of Sulphur and Rick Carroll and his wife Jan of Seabrook, Texas; daughter, Susan Taylor of Vinton; daughter-in-law Arlene Carroll of Baton Rouge; sister Peggy Morel of Baton Rouge; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Queeda Casey Carroll and son Tim Carroll.
Pallbearers will be his 8 grandsons.
A Celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 26, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial. His grandson Jason Carroll will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. Friday until service time.
