Rita Mae Clement

She was a native of Rayne and had been a lifelong resident of Carlyss. Rita Mae was a member of Choupique Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Dwight Ray Clement and wife, Cheri of Seabrook, Texas, Dale Richard Clement and wife, Debbie Bacque Clement of Carlyss, Dwayne Richard Clement and wife, Stori of Carlyss, and Linda Sue Sparks and husband, Beau of Many; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Clement; and two grandchildren, Darla Landry and Kyle Clement.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. James Kressman will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss.
