Rita Marie Hoffpauir

She was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Rita was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed dancing and listening to Cajun French Music with her husband, playing BINGO, making ceramics, and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Ronnie (Beth) Hoffpauir of Hemphill, TX, Tatus (Cheryl) Hoffpauir of Carlyss, LA, Vanessa (Tim) Mouton of Sulphur, LA; her grandchildren, Becka (Taaron) Ferrier, Marcus (Michelle) Hoffpauir, Melanie Hoffpauir, Marlana (Jeremey) Mancuso; her great grandchildren, Austin Hoffpauir, Haylie Hoffpauir, Makayla Mancuso, Myah Mancuso, Jaxon Mancuso, Grady Hoffpauir, and Cohen Hoffpauir; her furbaby, Chief.

Rita is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clifford John Hoffpauir; her parents, August & Angela East; and her brother, Adam East.

Rita's wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest next to her husband, Cliff, in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
