Rosalie May Kegley

Rosalie May Kegley, 76, of Sulphur, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 in a local hospital. Rosalie was born in Crowley, on August 27, 1947. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and baking for others. She was a dedicated member of Grace Baptist Church. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Wilton Kegley; her parents, Ophee and Viola Guidry; son, Leon Guidry; daughter, Monica Guidry; and brother, Wilton Guidry.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Marilyn Vincent and husband, Micheal, Martha Meyers, and Wilton "Boogie" Kegley Jr. and wife Kristen Perreira; grandchildren, Desiree Ulmer, Angela Anderson, Shellie Vincent, Brett Meyers, Brittiny Bouillion, Brandi Meyers, Brianna Laughlin, Hayden Bertrand, Dillon Guidry, KJ Welch, and Alexis Lozier; 18 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Velma Vondenstein and Velda Leblanc.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Brother Arvin Harrell will officiate. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation will be held from 12 pm - 9 pm on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the funeral home and will resume on Monday at 8 am until the time of service.
