

She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing and painting. Most of all her passion was serving the Lord and witnessing for him.
Survivors include her son, Lawrence Hidalgo, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Williamston, Michigan; daughter, Jerri Lynn Thornley and husband Bill, of Maplewood; sister, Joann McMillian, brothers, Gilbert Tennison and Carl Lee Tennison; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Ray, Danielle, Aaron and Bret and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Lawrence Hidalgo, Sr. and her brother Jimmy Everett Tennison.
Her funeral will be at 10:00 am Saturday, April 2, at First Baptist Church of Sulphur. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
She would want her friends in her Sunday School class and the members of First Baptist of Sulphur to know how much she loved them and appreciated all the kindnesses they did for her and her family. Also the new friends she made in her short time at First Baptist of Williamston. Appreciation is extended to Hospice Advantage of Michigan for their loving care.
