Thelma was a devoted member of her church, and loved activities such as prayer meetings and Mustard Seed. She served as the Sulphur High School Secretary for 21 years. She was an amazing woman with an incredible love of life and family. She loved reading, travel, and eating out, but mostly, she loved her family and friends, and their families and friends. She was kind, generous, and interested in others. She was loved, she will be missed, and she will never be forgotten.
The family would like to thank our loving sitters and the Brighton Bridge Hospice group for their compassionate care.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, in Henning Memorial United Methodist Church, preceded by a private burial. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
