Virginia "Jenny" Theressa Ardoin

Jenny was a native of Crowley, LA and later resided in Sulphur, LA. She enjoyed working hard taking care of anyone in need and winding down by sitting around a fire. Jenny never met a stranger and was accepting of everyone.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Patricia Davis Ancelet of Vinton, LA; her children, Joshua (Teri) Berry of Vinton, LA, Ken Johns of Sulphur, LA, Allan (Amanda) Ardoin of Denham Springs, LA, Andela (Nip) LaRose of Sulphur, LA, Trisca (John) Doucet of DeQuincy, LA, Kadondra Ardoin of Denham Springs, LA; 21 grandchildren; one great granddaughter on the way; her siblings, Billy, Tommy, Larry, Eddie, Curtis, Ramona, and Vina Ancelet; and a host of nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends.

Jenny is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Ray Ardoin; her mother and father-in-law, Herman & Norma Ardoin; her dad, Larry Ancelet Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home with Elder Eric Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Ardoin Cove Cemetery in Welsh, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home and will resume Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
