Vivian Kershaw

Vivian, a Sulphur native, was a member of Southside Assembly of God. She enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles and reading.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Charles "Shorty" Kershaw, Sr.; two sons, Terry L. Kershaw and wife Ramona of Pueblo West, Colorado; Charles L. "Peanut" Kershaw, II of Carlyss; daughter, JoAnne Myers and husband Douglas of Lake Charles; brothers, Jack Lyons of Sulphur and Marvin Lyons of Sunrise, Florida; sister, Shirley Wright of Hackberry; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, August and Edith Lyons; and brothers, Jeff and Lawrence Lyons.

Her funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, August 24 in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Bob Murray will officiate. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brett Jaramillo, Jody Kershaw, Andrew Kershaw, Kaleb Kershaw, Jason Gully, Mike Griffin, Greg Lyons and Lawrence "Bug" Lyons Jr. Visitation will be 4 - 9 p.m. Friday and resume at 9 a.m. Saturday.
