Frank Buddy E Smith Jr.

Frank E Smith Jr. (Buddy), 57, of Tacoma passed away on Oct. 2, 2013. He was born on March 19, 1956 in Tacoma to Frank and Eunice (Williamson) Smith. He graduated from Crook County High in Prineville, Oregon before working at the Prineville Newspaper and the Ochoce Mill in Prineville. When not working, he was known for his drumming skills, as well enjoying traveling (including a summer spent in Europe as a young man). Besides his father Frank Smith of Prineville, he is survived by his sons, Derek S (Lyndsay) Smith or Redmond, Or. And Brandon Tyler Smith of Portland, Or.; sisters, Vicki (Edward) Steele of Tacoma and Jeanne M. Ripley of Kingman, Az.; four grandchildren; three nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews. There will a Celebration of His Life on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 1:00 at Powers Funeral Home, 15124 Main Street in Sumner Wa. Inurnment to be at Juniper Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his memory to the MS Society.
