Ronald Earl Herron

Ron was born January 22nd 1954 in Raymond, MS and went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2011, Eatonville, WA. He is survived by his wife and life partner Suzanne Herron, who was the love of his life and by his side for nearly 37 beautiful years. He will also be missed by his three sons: Nathaniel (Rebecca), Rodney and Randall, and three grandchildren: Lia, Isaiah and Levi. His mother Sherley Herron, his sisters: Patricia Martin, Shirley McClellan, Sissy Hester and Dee Dee Lee and brothers: Johnnie Curry, Jerry Herron and Ricky Herron, and many nieces and nephews.

Ron was a member of the Army where he met his beautiful wife. After the Army he worked as a welder for many years and was proud of the work he accomplished. He also was a truck driver and did odds and ends jobs to support his family. Ron was a hard working man who loved his family and friends. He loved to ride and train horses, and had many different adventures throughout the years. He took pride in his family, animals and his home. He loved to spend time with his family, whether it was camping with his children or taking cruises with Suzanne. Ron was a wonderful man who was passionate about life and accepted everyone with open arms. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday June 22, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 13612 224th Street East, Graham, WA 98338. Following the service will be a full military ceremony at Tahoma National Cemetery at 1.30pm, 18600 SE 240th Street, Kent, WA. Reception to honor his memory will be at the Herron Residence directly following the military services.
