The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on May 4, 2013 at Sunland Mortuary in Sun City, Arizona.
Angelica was born of Greek immigrants, Harry and Sophia Maglaras. She was born in Garden City, Kansas on November 5, 1930. She graduated from Garden City High School.
While in Garden City she met Emil Franklin Stevens. They were married on February 1, 1953 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Garden City, Kansas. Emil preceded her in death on November 22, 2012.
Shortly after they were married Emil’s job transferred the family to Spokane, Washington. This remained the family home for decades. Angelica and Emil raised a family of three boys in Spokane. In 2008 Angelica and Emil moved to the Phoenix area.
Angelica is survived by her three children; Mark and his wife Shelley, Paul and his wife Diane, and Phillip. She is also survived by her siblings; Pat, Mary, Cleo, Thomas, Helen, and Barbara. She has six grandchildren; Angie, Meaghan, Mike, Hannah, Robby, and Becca. She is survived by two great grandchildren as well.
Angelica is preceded in death by her husband Emil and her sister Theme.
