Anna Zeppetella was born in Castel Nuovo, Italy on May 30, 1948, growing up she loved to dance and play with the neighbors as well help with baking and parties. Anna had a very excited and vibrant personality and from a young age was curious and adventurous about the world had to offer.
Ann would end up meeting her future Husband of 51 years Joseph at a party in Rochester. They would go on to live in love with one another the rest of their lives. They immigrated to the United States together and would go on to live a most beautiful life together. They loved to travel; they spent their honeymoon in Bermuda they would travel to California for one week every year and loved the ocean. Joseph and Anna loved to cruise the coast of California via highway 1 from San Diego to San Francisco and would often do this when they could. They would travel to Italy and California for many years. They decided to eventually retire and head down to Arizona to enjoy all the beauty the desert has to offer. Anna and Joseph stood by each other through thick and thin and they enjoyed what most of us can only ever hope to have. The companionship of someone who loves us dearly. Their love for one another took them all over the world and to the homes of many friends and family. Anna loved her family. She had a merciful spirit and a kind soul, and it really didn’t take long to become close to her.
Ann was a devout Catholic and enjoyed Music and dancing at Ventana Lakes retirement community with her husband. Anna would help decorate and cook for many Italian clubs and more specifically the American Italian Club. She also enjoyed bingo nights, bowling and getting out with her husband and friends. Anna taught Joseph to love dance, and he took to it naturally with her instruction. Joseph and Anna loved to spend time dancing and being the life of the party. Anna also loved to go to dinner and spending time with her dear Joseph. More than anything the two loved each other. The way there love for each other impacted the lives of those around them left an impression of what we all really want out of this life, someone that loves us for who we are and inspires us to look for the true blessing of genuine companionship.
God saw how tired she was, an end was not to be, so he put his arms around her and whispered “Come with Me” joining her husband of 51 years, leaving a brother Antonio and sister Vincenzina and many loving family members. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working at rest with her husband and God.
Anna Joined her husband in rest and was a deeply loved woman who lived a life anyone could look up to and admire. She will be equally missed
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to Hospice of the Valley.
