Anne Travers

Anne Travers, 98, died peacefully on September 15, 2015 in Deer Springs at Silver Sky in Las Vegas, NV, where she resided for the past five years. Anne, loving wife of Walter Philip Travers who passed away on May 17, 1987 and loving sister of Kate Benezuk and beloved Aunt of Vicki Gallucci who both predeceased her. She is survived by daughters, Carol Williams (Eddie), Pat O'Gara (Tom), Terry Travers, and daughter-in-law, Rosemary Travers who married Anne's son Wally who died on 9/11/01 in the World Trade Center.

Anne moved from The Bronx, NY to Sun City, AZ in 1976 with her husband. Living there were the happiest years of her life. She has left behind eight grandchildren. A ninth, Edward Glendon, Jr. passed away Sept 1, 2001 after a long illness. Additionally she has nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who all love her and will miss her dearly. Anne will be remembered for her love and spirit for life.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept 30, 2015 9:30 to 10:30 am at Sunland Mortuary 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City AZ 85351.
