

Anthony J. Em, 80, of Sun City, AZ and formally of Clifton/Freehold, NJ and Batesburg, SC, passed away January 10, 2022. Tony was born November 11, 1941 in Passaic, NJ to Charles and Mary (Heck) Em. After graduating from high school, Tony served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959 through 1965. His desire to serve and protect continued throughout his life. Tony worked in Clifton, NJ for 26 years as a Firefighter, as well as working with the Police Department and as an EMT.
Tony also owned his own company, Em & Em Plumbing and Heating, as a master plumber for over 40 years. He was a creative gourmet chef that loved to cook for his family and friends. In his spare time, Tony enjoyed gardening and planting with his wife. He was well known for his compassion, generosity for others, and giving back to his community. Every time you saw Tony, he was sure to be in a U.S. Marine Corp shirt and hat, showing off his pride for his service and love of country. His mantra was “Once a Marine, Always a Marine…Semper Fi!”
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Linda (Lempicki); his children Anthony Em, Jr., Thomas Em, Sharon Getz, Richard (Rich) Conrad, William Conrad, Rebecca (Raymond) Tenpenny, and Edouard (Brenna) Conrad; his grandchildren Christopher Rhodes, Josh (Sandra) Getz, Tyler (Sarah) Getz, Juliet Em, Anthony Em, III, Mountain Em, William Craig-Conrad, Diana Conrad, Layne Conrad, Edouard Conrad, Jr., Ethan Tenpenny, Tyler Tenpenny, Raymond Tenpenny, IV, and Alexa Tenpenny; his great grandchildren C.J. Rhodes, Heidi Rhodes, Everett Getz, and Jaxson Getz; his brothers-in-law Eugene Lempicki and Robert (Nancy) Lempicki; his sister-in-law Leila (Daniel) Byrne; as well as his nieces and nephews.
Tony’s final wishes were for everyone to be together and take care of each other. He wanted his friends and family to know they brought him great joy.
