Armin R. Heine passed away peacefully at the Hospice of the Valley in Surprise, AZ on December 14, 2014 at the age of 86. Born on January 23, 1928 to Bernard and Mary Heine of Carson, North Dakota. Armin is survived by his loving wife Leona M. Heine, sons Jeff Heine, Darrell Heine, daughter Suzette Picket, stepson Paul New and stepdaughter Christy Frison as well as sister Bernice Pruitt and ten grandchildren. Armin was loved by many and will be missed by all those that truly knew him. Armin lived a complete and full life as an Army Corporal, Aircraft Draftsman, Program Analyst, Battalion Draftsman and Engineering Associate. His true joys and loves in life were to dance, collect coins, play Bridge and build anything that you could imagine with his hands. Armin was an active participant in his community as member of the Elks and President of the Sundial Dance Club.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 AM on January 10, 2015 at The Congregational Church of Sun City, 18401 N. 99th Avenue, Sun City, AZ 85373. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to the Surprise PCU Hospice of the Valley.
