Born on October 10, 1946, Artie grew up on the south shore of Long Island, New York. He graduated from Oceanside High School before earning his AAS in Electrical Engineering from the RCA Institute.
A respected computer tech engineer, Artie made significant contributions by assisting colleagues across the United States and France through his work with Honeywell/Bull. He created many valuable and important software programs that left a lasting impact in his field.
Artie’s passions extended beyond his work. He loved entertaining family and friends, grilling, traveling, and road trips. He was an avid tinkerer, especially with cars and electronics, and enjoyed recalling the escapades of his youth. His favorite way to relax was with a well-made gin & tonic and a dip in the pool.
He is survived by his longtime spouse Carmela Arnoldt, daughters Kristin Belville and Deanna Arnoldt, grandchildren Caden and Lexi Belville, and his sister Marilyn Arnoldt. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Andreas Arnoldt, in 2015.
A small service for family and friends will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, Arizona 85351.
