Carl Steven Slonkosky passed away September 19, 2022, in Gold Canyon, AZ, at the age of 75. Born on April 25, 1947, in New Jersey, he moved to suburban Chicago during high school and graduated from the University of Illinois with honors. He went on to earn a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Illinois in Latin American History. Specializing in college recruitment for Motorola, GTE, and Zenith, he spent time alternating between Phoenix, Chicago, and southwestern Michigan until he became the Regional Sales Manager for Battaglia Distributing Company for southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana. He was a loving husband and father, youth league baseball coach, baseball fan (especially of his beloved New York Yankees), and crossword puzzle aficionado who was passionate about his love for Arizona and 4-wheeling in his Jeep Wrangler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Adele. He is survived by his wife, Marie, his son, Michael, his daughter-in-law, Kristin, his brother, Craig and his sister-in-law, Carol.
There will be a family memorial at Sunland Memorial Park on November 28, 2022.
