Daniel Klar

He was 99. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mari, by his brothers, Joe and Frank, and by his wife, Ruth. Surviving family members include his sister, Ann Arnold, his sister in law Claire Klar, and his daughter Karen Stempinski and her husband Erwin.

He leaves behind five grandchildren, Larry Drury (Caryn), Erin Stempinski (Sebastian), Meridith Stempinski, John Stempinski (Stephanie) and Jason Stempinski (Jill) and six great grandchildren. Dan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1925. He served in the Army during WWII and was stationed in the Pacific. His career was spent primarily as a construction project manager, building hotels and office buildings across the country and throughout the world. His motto was "Proper Planning Prevents Problems". His hobbies included tennis, which he continued to play until he was in his late 80's. He touched many hearts with his gentle spirit, quick wit, and a twinkle in his eye.

A short graveside service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 11:00 am MST at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 N Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
