

Diana Mary Strefeler, age 77, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on March 27, 2023, from complications of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She was born in Union City, Pa., to Park and Adelaide (Salisbury) Wolf on Nov. 16, 1945. Predeceased were her parents and sister, Linda Snyder. Diana was a graduate of Fort LeBoeuf High School’s class of 1963. She was a devoted, loving wife to William John Strefeler, whom she married on Dec. 1, 1984, in Glendale, Arizona. Diana worked for Banner Thunderbird Medical Center from 1982 to 2002 when she quit to enjoy retirement with her husband. She is survived by three children, Rebecca (Blaine) Boleratz, Kevin Hanlin, Barbara Long and their father, Gerald Hanlin. She also leaves nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Diana was a member of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge 2559 in Sun City, Ariz. She loved traveling with her husband and was always looking for sewing and crafting projects to work on which often turned into gifts for friends and family.
There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 10AM. Immediately followed by interment at Sunland Memorial Park 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd. Sun City, Arizona.
