Diane G. Tobiason

Diane grew up in Moses Lake, WA where she met her husband (Larry) who was stationed there with the United States Air Force. Diane and Larry were marred on December 3, 1960 and shortly thereafter moved to Helena, MT. They enjoyed every minute together making friends everywhere they went. Diane worked for the State of Montana for 30 years. Following retirement she and Larry moved to Sun City, AZ where she enjoyed golfing, paper tole, lapidary and ceramics. Diane was active in the community and enjoyed spending time with all her friends in crafts and golf.

Diane is survived by her husband Larry, her daughter Julie Rodger (Conrad, MT) and two sons Steve Tobiason (Mount Vernon, WA) and Mike Tobiason (Williston, ND); her sister Teri Oliver (Baker, OR); 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Diane was an incredible woman who lived life to the fullest. She was considered the “coolest grandma” in Helena driving her T-top Camaro with the grandkids hair blowing in the wind and listening to music.

A memorial service will be held on August 13, 2014 at 10am at the Sunland Mortuary in Sun City, AZ. Reception to follow at Sunland Mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Vincent Depaul of Sun City.
