

Edwin was born in Anderson Indiana on April 19, 1938 during the great depression. Growing up he was able to witness much of American and World history that is studied in schools today. Edwin was able to witness The fall of the Soviet Union, the celebrations of VE and VJ day solidifying the allied victory in WWII, as well as the millennium technology boom that plays an impactful role in all our lives today.
Edwin was truly an instrumental figure in the building and progress of our country. He graduated from the General Motors institute in 1960 and was a dedicated car enthusiast, a joy he shared with his friends and family alike. Edwin would also go on to serve Honorably in the U.S. Army Reserve’s during the Vietnam War. Edwin found his calling in life as a Minister further preserving and reaching others through sharing the Love of the Lord. His calling reached many lives through his sharing of the Gospel in person, in print, on the Radio as well as in podcasts. Edwin would eventually publish over 50 books, most of which were sharing the Lord and hope of the Lord to reach others and preserve the faith for future generations. Edwin showed us what it meant to live a life well lived.
Edwin R. Handley is survived by his 6 children, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Edwin Loved his family deeply and will be forever remembered by all who knew him.
Edwin lived life well, and through his faith was able to show the love of the lord to others through his works and through how he lived his life. He was a man among men that helped build this nation and protect and preserve it through his faith. Edwin’s life is a life any one of us could look up to and admire and strive for. Edwin Richard Handley was a deeply loved man and will be equally missed.
Edwin will be laid to rest at Southern Arizona Veterans Cemetery in Sierra, Vista Arizona on June 9, 2025 at 10:00am.
