Eugene was born in Lemmon, South Dakota to Roy and Elizabeth Watson.
He honorably served his country in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Corporal during the Korean War. Eugene worked as a carpenter.
Eugene is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Karen Watson; children, Lynette Stone, Leland Watson and his wife Viv and LuAnn Sietsema and her husband Drew; sisters, Dorothy Benson, Ruby Watson and Ruth Caser and six grandchildren.
