Gladys Leach, age 99, died Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at her home in Glendale, AZ. Gladys devoted her time and talents to homemaking, childcare, and the arts. She was an accomplished pianist, chef, multi-media artist, stenographer and lover of technology. She was also a devoted Christian and active church member at First Baptist Church of Sun City West and a generous donor to many charities. To her family and others who knew her, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph (Chet) and Claire Arey; her husband, Wilbur Leach and her daughter Diane Bottegal. Gladys is survived by her daughter Carol Faudel (husband Ed Faudel);
grandchildren, Jessica Hekter (husband Shane Hekter); Cyndie Allen (husband Bill Allen); Megan Tarvin (husband Tim Tarvin);Tierney Twigg (husband Randy Twigg); Tony Faudel (wife Carrie Faudel); MANY
great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic the family has elected to say goodbye to Gladys at a graveside interment on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 1:00pm at Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.
