

Harry J. Snyder, 73, of Sun City, Arizona, went to be with the Lord on August 56, 2010 after a sudden illness. Harry was born June 3, 1937 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to Harry and Marion Snyder. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara J. Snyder, two sons: Thomas Snyder and William (Cheri) Snyder, two daughters: Pattie Mulcahy and Tammy (John) Lynn, and seven grandchildren: Marshall Snyder, Morgan Snyder, Olivia Snyder, Bennett Snyder, Fiona Mulcahy, Christine Lynn, and Catherine Lynn. He is also survived by two sisters: Ann (Dale) Stone and Sally (George) Wilbur, and two brothers: Thomas (Connie) Snyder and Charles (Karin) Snyder. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Marion Snyder, his son Christopher James and his grandson, Jeremy Lynn.
Harry was an accomplished man with many interests and belonged to many organizations. Throughout his life, he was the President of Phillipsburg JC, a part of Bernadine May Legion Youth Baseball, the President of the American Italian Pleasure Club, he was honored with the Paul Harris Fellow title in his Rotary Club in Phillipsburg and was also a member of the Sun City Men's Golf Club. Harry sponsored the Snyder Indian Softball League aka Adult Palmers Softball. Harry was an avid lover of golf, baseball, football, and most sports in general. He was a former member of the Rock Church in Easton, PA and became a member of Evangel Assembly of God once he moved to Sun City. Harry retired from being an independent insurance agent after 35 years and went to work for the Sun City Airport Shuttle Services which he enjoyed immensely. Harry was an amazing man and will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rock Church in Easton, PA and Firth Community Youth Center in Philllipsburg, NJ. Memorial Services will be held a t 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Sunland Mortuary, Lakeside Chapel 15826 Del Webb Blvd in Sun City, Arizona.
