Helen Laughead Larson of Freedom Plaza, Peoria, Arizona, died on January 10, 2015. She was born in Mercer County, Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Gladys Bailey Laughead. She was married to Meredith H. Davis who preceded her in death. She later married Melvin L. Larson on April 9, 1966, in Aledo, Illinois. Mrs. Larson received her education from Mercer County Schools and graduated from Alexis High School in Alexis, IL and later took commercial studies at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. She was employed as a secretary at John Deere Company in Moline, IL; later taking a position at National Bank of Aledo, IL. Following that she worked at the law office of Ives and Davis. Mrs. Larson was a member of the Church of the Palms in Sun City, AZ and Chapter H of P.E.O. in Aledo, IL. She enjoyed her many friends along with bridge, golf, music, and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin L. Larson in December of 2014. She is survived by a niece, Janet L. Berfield, and nephews Donald A. Laughead and Robin M. Laughead (Kathy).
