Hermina grew up in Bridger Montana on her parents farm. She attended Bridger High School and was a cheerleader and on the girls basketball team. She wasn’t much of an athlete but she always swore that she could make free throws using a granny shot better than today’s pro’s. After graduation she attended Eastern Montana College and became a teacher after graduation. On her first teaching assignment she met her future husband Thomas Flatt, and they were married later that year. They relocated to Boulder Colorado for a short time, then moved to the Phoenix Arizona area. She taught special education and first grade in the Cartwright school district until she retired. After retirement she became very active at Grace Bible Church in Sun City, and with Gideons International.
Hermina was preceded in death by her siblings: Alex, Hilda, Mary, Bertha, Albert, Rhinny, Emma, Gus and Leroy. She was also preceded by her dear husband Thomas.
Hermina was a devoted Christian, Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She will be missed here on earth, but still lives on in heaven.
