Joan E. Baker passed away June 18, 2013 in Surprise, AZ at the age of 87. She is survived by husband, Rollin Baker; son, Robert Baker and granddaughters Kaela Baker and Devan Baker. Joan worked as a reading tutor at Pendergast elementary school and served in the British Royal Navy. She also worked as a reservation secratary for Del Webb in the original Sun City, Phase 2. She will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held Thursday June 20, 2013 at 10:00am located at Sunland mortuary.
