Joye grew up with a strong sense of duty and compassion that would guide him throughout his life. He proudly served his country as a veteran before continuing his commitment to service with the City of Phoenix Police Department, where he dedicated 22 years as a police officer. He served with integrity, courage, and deep care for the community he protected.
Beyond his uniform, Joye Dee was known for his kindness and warmth. He had a true gift for gardening anything he planted seem to thrive under his care, a reflection of his patient, nurturing spirit. He loved walking, being outdoors, and connecting with people.
He was friendly and outgoing, he could strike up conversations with anyone passing by. To know him was to be greeted with a smile, a kind word, and genuine interest. He was compassionate, social, and deeply devoted to his family.
His presence brought comfort, laughter and steady strength to those around him.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, two grandkids and three great grandkids .
