

Juliana Riedelsheimer (Schmidt), age 85, of Surprise, Arizona passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfons of 40 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother; and is survived by her two sons Richard (Candy) Riedelsheimer of Wisconsin and Michael (Denise) Riedelsheimer of Maryland, along with her only grandson Jacob Riedelsheimer of Virginia. Additional survivors are her sister Elizabeth Wogamon (Donald) and family, her cousin Theresa Smith and family, and special friend Rudy Koller as well as relatives and friends in the US and Germany.
Juliana was born in Karawukowo, Yugoslavia, to her loving parents Michael and Magdalena (Gfrerer) Schmidt. She was raised in Judenburg, Austria and immigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1956 where she met her husband Alfons and raised their family. They eventually retired to Arizona in 1997.
Juliana was a Homemaker, known for her amazing cooking and baking. She loved to entertain for family and friends. She was also an accomplished seamstress and would sew her own custom clothes for formal events. She loved being active, walking, hiking and swimming.
A viewing for Juliana will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from 9:15 AM to 9:55 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 19002 N 128th Ave, Sun City West, AZ. Followed by her Catholic funeral mass 10:00 AM.
Her final resting committal service will occur Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Sunland Memorial Park Cemetery Lakeside Mausoleum, 15826 N Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
