Kathy married Harry Tate in July 1958 and proceeded to move around with the Air Force, calling different places home. Kathy loved to travel in her RV and helping her friends in Chama, New Mexico. She had a passion for painting, sewing, quilting, and being involved in church activities.
Kathy was a loving, caring, and spiritual mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
Kathy is survived by her brother Bill and sister-in-law Pam and by her 3 children, Pam, Bonnie, and Joe as well as a daughter-in-law Kim. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Charlie, Chris & wife Heidi, Michelle, Allison, Eric, Joey, Kristina & husband Sean, and Corey and great grandchildren, McKenzie, Micah, Isabella, Shawn, Jaxson, Elizabeth, Taylor, Dylan, Ethan, Ryleigh, and Declan as well as 5 great great grandchildren. Her husband of 59 years Harry Tate proceeded her in death March 23, 2018.
