Marci Ann Kramer

Marci Ann Kramer is survived by her husband, Donald D. Kramer of Glendale, Arizona and daughter, Stacey Rivera of Torrance, California. She was preceded in death by her mother, Colette Gertrude Shields and father, Jack Richard Shields.

Marci Ann was born on October 7th, 1957 on Hahn Air Base, in Rhei-Hunsrueck Kreis in Germany. She graduated from Bedford High School in 1975 in Bedford, Massachusetts. Marci married James Martines in May of 1977. The two were high school sweethearts. They proudly welcomed their daughter, Stacey Ann in the Fall of 1980.

As a loving mother, Marci enjoyed sewing and baking throughout Stacey’s childhood. Her Christmas cookies became a tradition that Stacey will continue and cherish with her children. Being the crafty Mom that she was, Stacey’s childhood school projects were legendary master pieces and memorable time spent together.

Marci later met, Don Kramer. The two were married in February of 2012, not long after an unforgettable trip to Europe – her first and lifelong dream. Don and Marci were inseparable best friends. They thoroughly enjoyed music together and road trips to California to visit their grandchildren, Viviana Lily and Dominic Alexander.

A private burial at sea and ceremony will take place this September in Orange County, California. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Save the Children Fund through sponsorship: savethechildren.org
