Margie Marie Ford, 92, of Peoria, Arizona passed away March 13, 2020. Margie was born on February 16, 1928 in Gainesville, Texas to Kenneth and Lillie (Fenter) Brookings. Margie went to school in Gainesville and graduated from Gainesville High School, Class of 1945. While growing up in Gainesville, she was a member of Southern Baptist Church. Margie loved to travel and move around, living in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona. Margie also loved watching old Westerns on TV, riding horses, fishing, and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.
Margie was predeceased by her husband Elton Clovis Ford, Jr. in 1988 and her brother Kenneth L. Brookings, Jr. in 2007. She is survived by her children Elton C. Ford, III and M. Carol Ridley; her grandchildren Sonya, Phillip, Kenneth, and Tesia; as well as her 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons.
Services will be held at a future date in Denison, TX with burial at Fairview Cemetery.
