Marie Delphia Luciani

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marie Delphia Luciani, on July 2nd in Sun City, Arizona at the age of 92. Born on December 18, 1931, Marie grew up in Charleston, West Virginia. She met and married the love of her life, Michael Luciani Jr., who predeceased her in 2005.

Marie and Mike made their home in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1954 and relocated to Arizona in 1994.

She worked for over 30 years in the supermarket industry as an office and front end manager. With a passion for gardening, Marie could always be found tending to her plants and working outside in her yard. Marie enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and making special memories for family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marie is survived by her loving children, son, Bernard Luciani (Cynthia) of Homosassa, Florida, Gloria McMahon (Edward) of Richmond, Massachusetts, Deborah Sacco (Ronald) of Peoria, Arizona, Michael Luciani III (Teresa) of Hobart, Washington and Paul Luciani (Tami) of Pittsfield, Massachusetts; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandchild; and brother Paul Young of Ashville, North Carolina.

A visitation for Marie will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Crematory, 15826 North Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A committal service will follow directly after Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
